Closer connections.
More room to be yourself.
Therapy for adults navigating loneliness, relationship patterns, self-esteem, and questions of identity.
You might want closer relationships but find yourself holding back, second-guessing where you fit, or feeling alone even when you’re with other people. Maybe relationships keep ending in familiar ways, or you’re unsure how to ask for what you need.

Connection can feel complicated.
You may replay conversations, worry that you are too much or not enough, or keep your needs to yourself to avoid disappointing someone. You might feel comfortable helping others but unsure how to let them support you.
These experiences can show up in friendships, dating, family relationships, or work. We can explore your experience without assuming that every difficulty has the same cause or solution.
How we can work
Understand the pattern.
Find your voice.
Together, we can explore what makes connection difficult, how you see yourself, and the patterns that show up between you and others. Our therapeutic relationship offers space to practice being more open, expressing your needs, and navigating differences.
That can include noticing self-critical thoughts, finding language for boundaries, and understanding what happens when closeness feels risky. We can connect those moments with your history while considering what you want to do differently now.
You can bring uncertainty, frustration, or questions about our own conversations into the work too.
Identity & life transitions
Who are you becoming?
Friendships, dating, work, and expectations can shift in your twenties and thirties. You may be figuring out which parts of your life reflect your own values and which feel shaped by other people’s expectations.
I work with adults across stages of life. The aim is to understand your experience and goals, not to decide in advance what a satisfying relationship or meaningful life should look like for you.
This is individual therapy. You can work on relationship concerns even when a partner or family member is not attending.
